"I didn't know you wake up this early." Meliora drawled as she approached a random chair, one that was farther away from Kaid and sat down.
"Call me Axel from now." Kaid replied instead of a normal reply, and Meliora shrugged as she rolled her eyes. She sat down quickly remembering the proper etiquette that Vandet had taught her before.
"And why should I call you that. I would prefer calling you Kaid than that." Meliora said as she giggled picking up the knives and fork to start eating, Kaid pressed his lips into a thin line and decided to let her be.
The table was quiet for a while with just them eating their breakfast, Meliora watched as he had this blank look on his face and began to wonder if they were the same people, because the Kaid from before usually liked talking to her.
