Crucifix mocked, and Meliora mused on his words, her brows scrunching into a frown. Yet, she still didn't waver.
"I just feel like there's something fishy. Remember that time I fainted? I heard that shadow guy call him 'Your Majesty,'" Meliora explained to Crucifix as she picked up the paper to heal her scar.
[That might just be a mistake,]
Crucifix mechanically replied. Meliora shook her head, deciding to focus on the most important thing. She'd figure out the Kaid issue later.
"The instructions here say I have to get a rare herb only found in the White Snow Valley. Where is that?" Meliora asked.
Outside her room, the guard perched on the roof nearly fell off when he heard Meliora call Kaid the king.
"Has she caught on?" he whispered darkly to himself, contemplating whether to inform Kaid. He decided against it.
