Chapter 9: Hidden Dangers
Kael'thuras and his warriors moved silently through the dense forest, their senses alert to any potential threats. The night was still, with only the occasional rustle of leaves breaking the silence. They were on a reconnaissance mission, scouting the area around their settlement for any signs of danger.
Elara, the Elven scout, led the group, her keen eyes scanning the surroundings. Suddenly, she halted and raised her hand, signaling the others to stop. "There," she whispered, pointing to a faint glow in the distance. "A campfire."
Kael'thuras nodded, his expression serious. "Stay low and move quietly," he instructed. "We need to see who or what we're dealing with."
The group advanced cautiously, their movements barely making a sound. As they drew closer, they could make out the outlines of a crude camp, constructed from branches and animal hides. Figures moved around the fire, their shapes unfamiliar and menacing.
Kael'thuras motioned for his warriors to take up positions around the camp. They watched in silence as the creatures went about their activities, unaware of the Orcs' presence.
Elara whispered to Kael'thuras, "I've never seen creatures like these before. They seem organized and dangerous."
Kael'thuras nodded. "We need to know what we're up against." He gestured for Grom to follow him. "Let's get a closer look."
As they approached the edge of the camp, the firelight revealed the creatures more clearly. They were humanoid but with reptilian features—scaly skin, elongated snouts, and sharp claws. Their eyes glowed with a malevolent light, and they moved with a predatory grace.

He signaled to the rest of the Orcs, who moved into position, ready to launch their attack. With a fierce battle cry, Kael'thuras charged into the camp, his warhammer swinging with devastating force.
The Saurians were caught off guard, but they quickly recovered, their claws flashing in the firelight. The clash of weapons and the roars of combat filled the air as Orcs and Saurians fought fiercely.
Kael'thuras [Roaring Strike] smashed into the nearest Saurian, sending it sprawling. Grom's axe cleaved through another, and Elara's arrows found their marks with deadly precision. The Orcs fought with overwhelming strength and coordination, driving the Saurians back.
Despite their ferocity, the Saurians couldn't withstand the Orcs' onslaught. One by one, they fell, their camp reduced to a scene of chaos and defeat.
