Andrew's POV
"No, no!" I shook my head, as if I could shake off the pungent scent invading my senses and make everything right. My wolf pushed himself to the forefront, growling furiously.
That was his way of expressing his feelings; Worry and rage. So, I couldn't blame him nor pacify him.
Cautiously, I approached the dead body. The cool night air prickled against my skin, raising goosebumps along my arms.
"This is not Jade." I stayed flatly. I didn't know whether to rejoice or be sad over that discovery. A mix of relief and dread washed over me, leaving me feeling unsteady. The discovery meant Jade was alive but could have be hurt or injured.
The suitcase I was seeing beside the dead body looked exactly like Jade's.
"What is going on?" I wondered, feeling my head get emptier by second. I couldn't think straight.
However, I found myself crouching over the dead body and inspecting it.
