Third Person's POV
Andrew's lips parted slightly in shock as his eyes darted around the half-empty room. His hands were clenched into fists by his sides, knuckles turning white with tension, and his wolf jumped around within him, restlessly.
"What happened to Jade?" He mumbled under his breath.
"Was she forced to leave or did she leave voluntarily?" He wondered aloud, his mind racing through possible scenarios, each more concerning than the last.
"Why would she even leave voluntarily?" He thought, and without thinking straight, he pulled out his phone from his pocket, the cool metal a stark contrast to his warm, clammy hands. His fingers trembled slightly as he started dialing Jade's number, But the number didn't connect, and he got directed to the voicemail.
"No!" He stated in panic, his voice cracking with emotion. He hurried out of the room, his footsteps echoing loudly in the hallway.
