Andrew's POV
"How did you know?" My father inquired, cutting straight to the point. He didn't sound surprised, but I could see him glancing at Aunt Audrey suspiciously.
My smirk grew bigger. I loved that I seemed to have the upper hand at that moment.
"Don't worry about that, a smart man always has his ways." I replied to him, sounding smug. Afterwards, I put on a straight face and I continued talking.
"That is not important anyway. What is important is you knowing that I know you want to use Jade as the sacrificial lamb. You want to send me to Switzerland, to be out of reach from Beta Moore and you want Jade to be hurt in my stead..." I stopped talking and looked at him in disbelief and annoyance. How could he even think of doing that to me.
"I planned that in order to protect you. Everything is for..." My father was saying but I interrupted him, cutting him short rudely.
