Jade's POV
My eyes darted between the strange, scary man who looked mysterious with the scar on his face and Andrew. Andrew looked at me after the man's statement and I couldn't decipher what was going through his mind.
"I am certain I have never seen you before." I cleared my throat, replying to the man. He cracked a dry chuckle, a very dark one that gave me goosebumps.
I didn't know whether Lydia felt the same, but her hand quickly reached for mine under the table and we held onto each other.
Andrew was still standing, glaring at the man angrily.
"Really? You mean you have completely forgotten about everything?" The strange man asked me again. He was staring at me intently like he really knew what he was saying. I was as confused as Lydia who was clutching onto my hand.
"I don't have an idea of what you... " I was trying to tell him again that I didn't know anything about him when Andrew interrupted me, cutting me short.
