Jade's POV
"By the way, I am Lydia. What is your name?" The girl asked me. She hadn't stopped talking even though I wasn't replying her.
I had a frown on my face all through and just kept walking down the stairs. We finally got downstairs and I saw Andrew standing at the entrance of the kitchen, holding a mug of tea.
"Good morning, Sunshine." He said to me with a sweet smile. But I refused to be soothed by his sweet smile and the endearing term. I just nodded at him and muttered a 'morning' to him.
"Who knows whether the 'sunshine' was actually for the girl coming behind me!" I stated, my frown deepening. I just couldn't control the feeling of jealousy surging through my mind.
Andrew was taken aback by my reaction but he didn't have time to dwell much on that as the girl trotted to hug him upon seeing him.
