Andrew's POV
"I am going to have to dig up the truth and find out whatever it is that he is hiding from me. But for now, I need to let him think I believe him." I concluded inwardly and my expression softened.
"We are going to work together to fight Beta Moore, dad. You can trust me on that." I told him, calmly.
He heaved a deep sigh of relief at my statement and that strengthened my resolve.
"You shouldn't have accused me like that. I was disappointed. I thought you had so much trust in me." He stated.
"I'm sorry, dad. It's just... with everything that is happening with Jade and all, I didn't know what to think." I said quietly.
"You can't let that cloud your judgment. Moore is playing a dangerous game and I don't want you to get caught in the middle of it." He stated, chidingly.
I nodded, playing along with him so he wouldn't suspect that I was becoming suspicious of him.
