"Well welcome young master Akashi, You are late!!"
The first thing that Akashi heard when he entered the class for his lessons on sealing jutsu was the stern voice of the old teacher as she looked at him.
"You can't be late for this class! there is no fixed hour..." Akashi started to refute but ended up stopping as he knew that it was useless
It isn't the first time and it will not be the last time that the old teacher complains about that, plus it's not like he was the only one to whom she was complaining like
He quickly realized that if you aren't the first in her classroom you are late.
"Now go wear some appropriate clothes," she said after her usual round of complaint
She sends him to the changing room
Another thing that Akashi realized was that the old teacher had a very traditional approach to sealing jutsu, it may very well be the most important thing in life for her and she had an immense respect for it.
And this was the reason why he was here changing his clothes in a traditional red and white Kimono, it was one of the things that he never learned with his mother due to her less traditional mindset.
Funny enough he found out that actually really enjoyed the traditional aspect of things,
Walking back inside in his traditional clothing he joined the others in the room and took a seat in the front
"Here you go!" said one of the assistants bringing him the necessities for the class
It was another part of the training to be a sealing master that his mother didn't teach him
'How to confection my how sealing ink!' he thought looking at the material in front of him in a glass container
"Was it how it was in the class of chemistry in my other world," he said trying without success to remember his past life
'One thing is for sure the students here are a lot younger,' he then started his preparation in the calm total mixing the necessary and following the recipe that he had learned in the previous lesson
"Tzz,"
While focused on his preparation a strange sound was heard coming from just behind him, he recognized that sound as it was not the first time that it happened,
"Boom" As he expected he heard the sound of an explosion coming from behind
He turned around to see that the kid who was making the ink behind him was safe in the hand of one of the assistants while another had created a barrier that stopped the explosion from spreading
"There is nothing to see, focus on your work, and we will take care of any mishaps like always!" they said
Akashi like the others turned back to focus on their own preparation without a second thought after all it wasn't the first time that it happened.
In fact, this kind of explosion is fairly common and it was due to the last phase the preparation of the ink.
That is the phase that Akashi was now in, which consisted of mixing chakra into the solution, he looked at the pasty grayish liquid before him with attention
Taking a deep breath he started pouring his chakra into the mixture that was already hot and started to boil
"Dammit," he said looking at the mixture as he started to take a reddish 'slowly, slowly...' he mutter in his mind while lowering the amount of chakra that he was pouring into the container
Slowly he saw it take a more blackish texture, and he finally stopped after a while seemingly satisfied with the result
"Not bad, not bad at all," he heard
Looking up he saw the face of the red-haired teacher looking at him with a satisfied smile
"Hum," Akashi was a little surprised as it was the first time that she showed something other than a frown toward him
"You finally have some proper base, but there is still a lot to learn you barely succeded in creating your own ink like a proper sealing master..." she said and continued to give him some instruction
Looking at her Akashi finally started to understand that one of the reasons for her stern behavior toward him and some of the other students was probably due to some of his shortcomings in sealing but he decided to confirm that
"I thought that you didn't like me," he just said looking at her skeptically
"Don't like you! I don't have anything against you, you just remind me of your mother at the same age, you are like a building without a foundation leaning on one side and threatening to fall, that's frustrating for someone like me, this is not just you, this is the same for so many other who think that sealing is just about cool things," she explains while she did Akashi noticed that distinct frown that she had until now
"Anyways! So you have a good understanding of sealing jutsu and as already drawn a few sealed yourself but rarely put any chakra in them right," she asked him
"It's not completely right, i was taught a few things by my grandfathers and a few others before we..." he didn't end his sentence but she understood what he meant
"Show me!" she said and he executed taking a scroll he started to draw a complex seal, but he didn't end when she yanked it from the table and
"bang" the seal exploded Akashi could see that the power of the explosion was impressive and yet even though it was in her hand it didn't inflict any damage
"This is what I thought, you were taught advanced knowledge and seals without the proper foundation, your chakra control is too rough, your intent is not clear enough, your writing is not enough refined, it must have been the time constrain" after the observation she said to him
"Let's start with a simpler seal, shall we?" she said writing in front of him a rudimentary exploding spell
"You shouldn't have any problem with this one, it will be even easier if you use your eyes!" she said looking at him in the eyes and could see the shock in Akashi's eyes he involuntarily turned around by reflex making sure that no one heard her but was reassured by the voice of the old woman,
"I already put a seal around us to stop sound,"
"You can do that?! And you know about my eyes?!" he asked in succession
"You thought that Kuroko was the only elder to know about your eyes?! We need to know about this kind of thing if we want to teach you adequately, even though I realize that you must want that kind of thing to remain hidden from the public," she explained knowing that very few people know about his eyes
"Yes I would prefer if not many knew my secret!" he admitted before asking again
"But who is Kuroko?!"
"You don't know the name of your combat teacher?!" she asked him incredulously
"I don't know your name either?!" he retorted, hearing that she just sight and turned around
"Well, I guess you will never know it! Open your eyes," she replied referring to his sharingan
which he did and observed her write an explosive seal, not quite on the level of explosive tag but it was not bad for a beginner of course he copied everything from the writing to the amount of chakra used everything that he could discern, and with his understanding of sealing he was sure that he could replicate it.
In the meantime, the teacher turned around and walked toward another student who needed guidance
'I will just ask Kuroko sensei for her name now that I know his name, this is a cool name,'
After that useless thought, he focused his attention on the seal in front of him and started to replicate it again, and again while adjusting his chakra.
Another thing that he noticed was that the ink that he was using the one infused with his chakra even though it was of low quality was easier to use than any other top-quality ink that was provided to him until now.
In the class seal explosion after explosion resound distracting sometimes other students creating more explosions but there was always someone to save them.
While Akashi and the other members of his clan were training underground in relative safety the fire of wars started to rage and burn brighter and brighter.
After realizing that three of the five great nations had lost their jinchiruki and thousands of ninjas making their way toward their final destination
The smaller nations saw that as an opportunity, nations like Kusa, Ame, Sky Country, and others saw that as a revelation or maybe a intervention divine.
And of course, Konoha at the center of the storm was among the ones who couldn't let such an opportunity to retaliate against their enemies pass.
