Chapter 24 - Skill point

Baam!

Ha Joon Kim slammed the paper on the bed before standing up, still naked with his butt exposed.

"Welp, I'm done. And you didn't even answer my question." He said, walking towards the mirror, his butt cheeks moving with each stride.

"You're done? With everything?" Artoria asked, a bit of surprise on her face, mainly because her gaze was fixed on Ha Joon's fine ass.

"Well yeah, I've seen what I need to focus on, and so forth. The total asset in the kingdom is currently 4 billion eres. With army equipment taking the largest part, of 400 million eres, and domestic trade 200 million, which is all wrong." replied Ha Joon.

"Yeah, the Knights' well -being comes first." Artoria replied, her eyes not leaving Ha Joon's crouch.

"See that's where you're wrong. I understand the need to focus on the Kingdom's strength, but if the economic situation is crashing, even if your knights are 100 fold, it won't matter." Ha Joon moved closer to her.

He placed his hand on the bed, and leaned forward, his nose only a hair's length away.

Artoria's face instantly turned red as she began to look away, keeping her composure.

"Tell me, when was the last time you took a look at your kingdom's state of affairs? How do your people trade? The number of commoners suffering from corrupt nobles." He kept throwing questions at her.

But Artoria was unable to answer a single one, her head was going into overdrive.

She was only able to maintain herself because Ha Joon was far away, so it was easy for her to divert her eyes. Now that he's so close to her, naked, and she could smell him, she was so flushed she didn't know how to react.

His body looked so manly, his muscles molded clearly under his skin. His red eyes so dashing it could make even the prettiest maiden fall.

"Artoria?" Ha Joon moved closer, wondering why she wasn't speaking.

Her eyes turned dizzy and she fell to the bed, breathing heavily while gripping the bed and closing her eyes.

"Wow now, hey are you okay?!" Ha Joon positioned himself on top of her.

Artoria gently opened her eyes, her cheeks still beat red. She looked to the side with a forfeiting stare, as she spoke -

"I can't take it if you stand too close to me like this."

"Stand to… oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." Ha Joon stepped away, one step after the other.

He watched as Artoria gently sat up back, her thighs clamped together as she stared at the ground, while occasionally stealing glances at Ha Joon's dick.

"And can you please, put on some clothes."

Ha Joon sighed, "Hai hai".

After a few minutes, he was dressed in his noble attire, and seated on the bed beside Artoria.

"Hmm, If we are going to do this, then we are going to need a tour of Camelot." Ha Joon said to himself more than he did to Artoria.

"But Camelot is a big place, I doubt we could cover up everywhere just today."

Suddenly…

[A new side quest has been issued.]

[Side quest: Beautiful date.]

[Objective: Take the king of Camelot on a date and take her around Camelot.]

[Reward: 1 skill point.]

Ha Joon's expression instantly changed to one of annoyance.

'Why the fuck are you always so selfish with the rewards?! And what even is a skill point? You've never mentioned it.'

[A skill point is used to increase a skills rank, one skill point can increase a skill rank, one layer upper.]

'Oh, well that's pretty handy. There are some skills I can't exactly say learning will fix, honestly now that I think about it, it's easy for me to learn basic things about a skill, but increasing the rank is the hard part, there's only so much I can learn from magical powers. Okay, seems good then.'

"Traveler? What's wrong? You went silent all of a sudden." Artoria spoke, her beautiful eyes staring directly at Ha Joon.

He simply smiled, his Charm skill already active.

"Oh I was just thinking about something." He gently touched her hand.

Artoria flinched a bit, her face beet red once again.

'Wha…wha…whaa, what is he doing?!!!' She screamed internally.

"You've been cooped up inside this castle for so long, you need to step out every once in a while, don't you agree?" Ha Joon pulled closer.

The moment Artoria looked at him directly in the eye, it felt like something inside her snap.

She began nodding her head to everything he was saying, like a robot. But her stubborn nature didn't let her gaze soften.

"I knew you'd understand what I'm saying. You're so smart. So why don't we go on a date? You can use this opportunity to show me around Camelot." Ha Joon said with a smile, looking even 10X more attractive to Artoria.

Once again, she nodded her head.

"Very good." Ha Joon's face was beaming with joy, "Why don't you go get ready, and we'll start our date tomorrow morning".

"Yeah, okay." Artoria replied with a robotic voice before standing up and walking out of the room.

As soon as she was outside, Artoria rested her back on the wall, her face even redder as she slowly fell to her knee.

She gripped her chest, and punched the floor as she gave out a weird grin, filled with a mix of fluster and stubbiness.

"Keep it together Artoria, you're not weak".

Meanwhile…

The moment she was gone, Ha Joon's cool boy art shattered and he began to break down.

"Ahh what the hell?! She didn't say a single word! She just sat there and stared at me like I'm some kind of maniac who can't pull bitches but still tries anyway!" He rolled frantically on the bed, "She wasn't even the slightest bit into me! Dammit it!".

He stopped, looking at the mirror before him, "Blonde girls are always so hard to deal with, even with my charm skill, i couldn't get to her".

He sighed.

"I think…I miss Merlin".
