The bar was brightly lit, and the doors were locked, ensuring no one could leave.
The two sides stood clearly divided. Shen Momo, Tang Guo, and Lin Bao'er were near the bar, with Ye Qiu stepping forward to protect them. Opposite Ye Qiu stood over a dozen men in black suits. Some held walkie-talkies, appearing to be enforcers hired by the bar to maintain order.
Ye Qiu was puzzled. If these men were indeed bar enforcers, they would typically try to defuse the situation to prevent any disruption to their business. Instead, they seemed intent on shutting down operations just to deal with him, like releasing the hounds. Who exactly was the guy Tang Guo had kicked, and why were these men so eager to help him?
"Go!" The burly, bearded leader ordered, and two men charged forward.
Ye Qiu glanced back at Tang Guo and the others, ensuring they were safe. Shen Momo looked worried, while Tang Guo and Lin Bao'er appeared excited, pointing and chattering about something.
Ye Qiu flung the beer bottle he had caught earlier at the first man, who went down with a painful yelp. The second attacker hesitated, unnerved by how quickly his partner had been taken out. With so many watching, though, he couldn't retreat and charged forward, albeit in a zigzag pattern rather than a straight line.
Ye Qiu, reading the fear in his opponent's face, smiled. As the man's punch neared, Ye Qiu grabbed his arm, pulled him close, and executed a move reminiscent of the martial art "Drunken Beauty." He lifted the man's arm and yanked down sharply, dislocating it with a crack. He repeated the maneuver on the man's other arm before tossing him aside, where he landed at Tang Guo and Lin Bao'er's feet.
They pounced on him like two little tigers, punching and kicking.
"Ouch! Sister Tang, can I borrow one of your shoes?" Lin Bao'er asked.
"Why?" Tang Guo asked, puzzled but not pausing in her assault.
"My hands hurt," Lin Bao'er said, shaking her sore, red hands.
"Take off your own," Tang Guo replied, realizing her own hands were red and swollen too. She stood up and stomped on the man's dislocated hand, twisting her foot left and right. "This bastard's skin is so thick."
"Sister Tang, save his nose for me. It's full of blackheads—so gross," Lin Bao'er said.
Though his arms were dislocated, the long-haired man remained conscious, unable to rise without the use of his hands. Lying on the cold floor, he endured the two women's beating and complaints about his blackheads, which he had tried but failed to get rid of.
Seeing Ye Qiu take out one man with a bottle and dislocate another's arms made the onlookers realize his skill. The crowd cheered, with girls yelling, "Handsome, I love you!" and sending air kisses his way.
The bearded leader, realizing his mistake in underestimating Ye Qiu, saw how easily he had dealt with the first two attackers. "Everyone, get him!" he ordered. Over a dozen men charged at Ye Qiu.
Ye Qiu stood his ground, ready to protect the girls behind him. His position allowed him to strike while ensuring their safety. He moved his hands and feet with precision, sending attackers retreating with cries of pain. Anyone trying to go around to capture the girls was swiftly kicked in the groin by Ye Qiu.
The crowd, thrilled by the spectacle, cheered wildly. They were witnessing a real show of skill and bravery.
One by one, Ye Qiu felled the attackers, barely moving his feet. After he kicked the last man away, some of the excited women rushed towards Ye Qiu, only to retreat when he raised his foot.
"Ye Qiu, send us more to beat—oh, you're out of opponents," Tang Guo and Lin Bao'er pouted.
Ye Qiu glanced at the long-haired man on the floor, feeling a twinge of guilt. Sorry, buddy, he thought.
The bearded man, with a grim expression, stepped forward. Now it was his turn.
"Impressive, but it ends here," he growled, advancing on Ye Qiu.
