Chapter 58 - Celestial Battle!

Kayn stood in the middle of the cosmic realm, a commanding, overbearing aura emitting from his body, his eyes glowing, shimmering like a galaxy, its energy rippling through the celestial space.

Dracon, Vira, Marovik, and Zeek were located right before him, their current shocked expressions quickly transforming into palpable rage. This entire realm wasn't just a battlefield, it was a Cosmic Realm created by Kayn's celestial power, his personal domain expansion.

"You think you can trap us here?" Dracon snarled, flames licking the edges of his teeth as his towering form trembled with fury, "You're just a boy pretending to be a god."

Kayn's lips curved into a cold smile, his voice cutting through the starry abyss like a blade, "Pretending? You'll learn soon enough that I don't need to pretend."

As Kayn finished speaking, the air thickened and the members of the Conclave immediately prepared for battle. Dracon's fiery aura expanded, tendrils of dark energy coiled around Vira like living snakes, Marovik clenched his massive fists that bulged with raw physical power and Zeek's form shifted.

Kayn stood unfazed, his hands clasped behind his back as he observed them calmly. The stars around him pulsed with his breath, responding to the rhythm of his energy. He was in control here, completely.

~BOOM~

Suddenly, with a roar that reverberated through the cosmos, Dracon launched himself forward, a comet of flame and fury. His fists ignited as he slammed down toward Kayn, intending to crush him with brute force.

Kayn didn't move, just watching as Dracon leaped towards him ferociously. At the last possible second, Kayn raised a single hand, and the space around Dracon distorted.

The towering figure's momentum halted mid-air as though he had hit an invisible wall. Kayn's eyes narrowed as he twisted his wrist, and with a flick, he sent Dracon hurtling backward, crashing into a floating asteroid with enough force to shatter it into fragments.

Dracon continued smashed through smaller rocks, before crashing onto the ground, causing a mimi-earthquake that shocked the immediate environment, leaving him down for a bit.

The rest of the Conclave were shocked at how effortless Kayn dispatched Dracon, but they wasted no time in engaging.

Vira darted forward, her tendrils of dark energy extending toward Kayn like a swarm of serpents. Each one aimed to pierce through him, to bind and crush him into nothing but paste.

Kayn didn't worry too much about it, with a snap of his fingers, the space around him folded like paper, warping reality in a way that the tendrils passed harmlessly through him, as if he were made of light.

Vira's eyes widened in frustration and confusion, her attacks finding nothing to hold onto as she launched more and more tendrils of dark energy, all of which continued to phase through Kayn like if he didn't even exist.

"You'll have to do better than that," Kayn said calmly, his voice resonating through the void, at every single corner of the realm, "This is my world. You're just guests."

Vira growled, her hands crackling with chaotic energy as she prepared another assault. But before she could strike, Kayn raised his hand again, and the stars around them flickered.

~VROOOSH~

A pulse of tyrannical raw celestial energy pulsed outward from a variety of stars, crashing into Vira. Her body was immediately barraged by the overwhelming celestial energy.

Her connection to dark magic was almost pulverized, many of her body parts vaporized as her tendrils were shattered, and she was thrown back crashing onto the floor.

Meanwhile, during all of this, Marovik and Zeek worked together, the two of them creating a distorted field of chaotic energy as they closed in.

Marovik's massive body charged at Kayn like a bull, while Zeek tried to use his reality-influencing magical powers to bend the stars and planets around them.

Kayn's eyes sharpened. As Marovik's fist came crashing down toward him, Kayn sidestepped gracefully, his movements impossibly fast.

The force of Marovik's blow sent shockwaves rippling through space, distorting the nearby stars. But Kayn was already on the counter. As Marovik spun to attack again, Kayn extended his hand, and a ribbon of celestial energy shot forward, wrapping around Marovik's arm.

With a simple tug, Kayn lifted the hulking figure into the air as though he weighed nothing, before slamming him into the ground with enough force to crack the very fabric of the dimension beneath them.

"Stay down," Kayn muttered, his eyes flashing with cold authority.

Marovik tried to stand up, but Kayn pulled the nearby stars, sending them crashing down onto Marovik.

~BOOM~

An immense explosion occurred, sending shockwaves throughout the entire realm due to its large impact.

Zeek, seeing his ally fall, grinned and unleashed his full power. The space around them began to warp wildly, planets twisted, stars collapsed, and time itself seemed to flicker as Zeek tried manipulated the laws of reality.

The battlefield became a chaotic storm of swirling energy, but Kayn remained untouched, his control unwavering.

"You really think you can bend reality in my realm better than me?" Kayn asked, his tone laced with amusement.

Zeek's grin faltered as Kayn raised his arms, and the entire cosmic realm responded. Stars realigned, the swirling chaos of reality bending under his will as Kayn straightened the distorted space with a mere thought.

Zeek's reality-warping powers, impressive as they were, paled in comparison to Kayn's control over this dimension. Kayn pointed a finger at Zeek, and the space around him collapsed, pulling Zeek into a gravity well that squeezed the air from his lungs.

Zeek's form flickered, struggling to escape, but Kayn's power was absolute here.

"You're not the only one who can manipulate reality," Kayn said softly, his voice echoing in Zeek's ears as the pressure around him increased.

Before Zeek could cry out, the gravity well collapsed entirely, and he was crushed into unconsciousness, his form dissipating into the stars.

Dracon, who had slowly been returning to the battlefield, seeing his comrades fall one by one, roared in fury, igniting the air around him in a blazing inferno.

His eyes burned with hatred as he charged Kayn once more, his body a living comet of fire and rage. But this time, Kayn was done playing.

Kayn's gaze darkened, and he raised both hands toward the sky. The stars above shimmered, and with a deafening crack, the space around them shattered like glass, revealing a swirling vortex of celestial energy.

Dracon barely had time to react before a massive wave of energy crashed down on him, extinguishing his flames and sending him spiraling into the void.

In one final motion, Kayn closed his hand into a fist, and the vortex collapsed inward, swallowing Dracon, Vira, Marovik, and Zeek in a single, devastating strike. The cosmic realm shimmered as the last remnants of their power faded, leaving only silence and the distant twinkle of stars.

As the last echoes of the battle faded, Kayn let out a slow breath, his gaze softening.

Back in the real world, Kara still stood behind the pillar, her heart pounding as she tried to process what she had just witnessed. She had seen power before, she had seen Superman, her cousin, fight threats across the galaxy.

But what she had just witnessed was something else entirely.

Kayn. Harbinger—was something else.

Kayn reappeared at her side as though nothing had happened, his expression calm, though there was a faint glimmer of exhaustion in his eyes. He gave her a small smile, his voice low and reassuring.

"See? I told you I'd take care of it."

Kara could only nod, her mind still reeling from the revelation. "That... was incredible," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly as she stared at him in awe and disbelief.

Kayn gave her a small, playful smile, his dark eyes glinting with amusement, "But remember… not a word about this to anyone."

Kara nodded slowly, still trying to process everything that had just happened. "I… I won't say anything."

Kayn chuckled softly, stepping closer to her, his voice lowering as he leaned in. "Good," he whispered, his lips brushing her ear, "Because I still owe you that coffee date."

Kara blinked, her heart racing as she looked up at him. "You really never stop, do you?"

Kayn grinned, his playful charm returning in full force. "Not for a second."
