Markus bounced across the decks of the Sailing Dragon and the Marines ship he poached. He was so excited to bring a big crew back with him in less than a year, finally believing he was worthy of Ascalon.

Markus' smile widened before taking his sword out and started practicing on his Sailing Dragon. He could feel his Observation tremble as it almost instantaneously flooded his mind with everything around him before it slowly became a colored picture to his mind. His eyes snapped open with an intense red light before he smiled.
"Yes I would!"
"Hey captain, want some lun-huh?!" Rebecca froze behind Markus before shaking her head and walking away to make Lunch. Markus jumped up in excitement before checking his status.

Markus laughed loudly before he started playing with future sight gaining experience rapidly before he started swaying. He had used Future Sight almost thirty times in quick succession before he was almost completely out of Haki.

He examined his Haki as it slowly came back keeping an eye on it while he also trained Swordsmanship. Markus trained until food came out and trained after until night. His crew was impressed by his determination and trained alongside him. The former marines decided to not be left behind and those not navigating both ships started training for the Rokushiki, Klark decided it was more important to learn first.
They traveled for over a month training each day away with the former marines switching who navigated and who trained everyday. Surprisingly they didn't come across a single pirate or marine ship however they did get an interesting newspaper.

Markus smiled at the headline and bounties going to hang the bounties up he handed the news back to Anderson. Markus also made more progress even completing some hidden quests.

Markus felt knowledge flood his mind as he felt his Haki gather around his hand before it slowly started expanding from his hand into the atmosphere around him before he found his Haki was almost out again. He huffed but kept his smile finally reaching the milestone he set for him before claiming Ascalon. He was excited to finally acquire his sword.
He also pushed his crew to train harder seeing he needed four more people to reach Level 100 to reach the next Crew Ranking. He wanted to get every advantage he could to compete with the others already inhabiting his world and those that will come over later on.
Markus wanted to be ready so he started training his Haki further knowing it decided fights later on. He considered eating a devil fruit but ultimately saved himself for a mythical zoan or extra powerful devil fruit he could find not eating any of the fruits he currently had. Plus he didn't know what two of them were so he decided he would rather not risk it.
Markus trained harder now that his Advanced Haki was unlocked using the method's Shisu gave him though it was visibly much slower training his Haki only getting 300 points in Armament the first day compared to tens of thousands he would get training basic Haki with Harlen in a day.
Markus huffed like a child at his gains but kept his determination up by training harder than before using a metal cage from his new marine ship to train his Armament and using his crew shooting at him to train Observation slowly getting better at using them and the ability to use them for a longer period of time.
The Celestial Dragon pirates sailed for three days until they saw an interesting sight. A former marine swung between the ships and ran over to Markus, currently eating a snack (a buffet).
"Captain! Captain! There's a Marine Blockaide ahead! What should we do?!" Markus turned to see five ships lined up blocking their path. Markus hummed to himself and set a bone down.
"Hey Andy! What's the closest island?" Anderson hummed.
"From here? Probably Fable island." Markus raised an eyebrow but smiled widely.
"Then just keep heading straight I'll make sure we get through. Harlen! With me!" Harlen stopped his training and nodded before slipping on some brass knuckles and running after Markus. They were both sprinting across deck before jumping on the figurehead and both using Soru launched themselves through the air.
They flew through the air using Geppo only once to keep their propulsion before they landed on the first ship. Markus smiled and felt his Haki gather around his sword before drawing it into a slash. Harlen leaned back dodging the sword blade and used his hands to spring a kick into a marines face before running under Markus jumping into the air into a punch blocking a sword.
Markus landed behind Harlen and turned his waist narrowly dodging a bullet before catching a sword with his hand and stabbing the marine with his own sword. Markus drew his sword again for a thrust disappearing across the ship pinning three marines to the mast. Harlen followed his Captain up by throwing a marine overboard and jumping up to split kick two marines in the jaw.
Markus danced between blades and bullets before using Soru to once again dash across the deck of the ship this time using thrusting his sword through a marine Captain stunning him. Markus followed up with two quick hooks to the marines face before ripping his sword out of the man and turning around to deflect a few bullets.
Harlen jumped over a downed body and kicked a marine quickly catching himself in a handstand. He jumped back then into a backflip dodging like a professional gymnast narrowly escaping bullets and swords just to meet Markus's glowing red eyes mid flip. Markus reached out grabbing Harlen by the arm and threw him over his head barely getting Harlen out of the way of a cannonball.
Markus looked towards the marine ship next to them that just fired the cannon. He narrowed his eyes before realizing they were reloading. He quickly sheathed his sword and grabbed its hilt before taking a deep breath.
"Advanced Flow: Wave!" Markus slashed with such precision he was met with exactly 0% air resistance, cutting the air itself. A purple slash from the extreme precision and Haki took off through the air before slashing port to starboard splitting the ship closest to them in half. Everyone was stunned for a few moments before panic set it.
Marines started jumping ship while Harlen and Markus jumped to another ship before Markus cut the ship they were on in half, starboard to port this time. In a matter of less than 30 minutes 'The Sailing Dragon' passed by the sinking ships followed by Markus's own marine ship.
Markus had finished off the last boat while Harlen huffed on another, having cleared it himself. They both used Soru to quickly get back to their ship before sailing forward. Markus smiled before looking towards a floating screen.

He finally surpassed level 100. Markus was happy to reach such a milestone and was quickly met with another screen.

Markus scrolled through the legacy market before finding the skill and two perks he wanted. He quickly spent all 20 Legacy Points he had hoarded from destroying marines and making a name for himself.

Markus could feel his body become lighter feeling a surge of energy flood his body. Markus felt truly alive each time his skills or status increased massively where he could actually feel the way his body rippled as his muscles expanded before becoming lean. He took a sharp breath feeling refreshed before happily skipping to the figurehead to rest on.
Markus knew from Anderson they were nearly a week away from Fable island but was slowly becoming more and more restless as they got closer. He did increase his Haki training focusing most of his time on Conqueror's. With his current level in Haki he was as strong as any basic Yonko Pirate if not just below their commanders but if he had Advanced Conqueror's he would already be on the level of Yonko, even if it's as the weakest right now.
Markus felt good with power flowing through his body. He took a deep breath and stretched his body out before jumping up and down. He still had time before reaching Fable island meaning they had more time to train.
Markus forced the rest of his crew to join in on training. Instead of focusing on Haki or his sword Markus spent the next few days polishing his Rokushiki to a usable level in combat.
"So what's so important about Fable Island Cap'n? I thought it was abandoned or something?" Harlen laid on deck huffing in exhaustion but still managed out a question. Markus leaned up to look at him.
"Ah, it was my master's island decades ago. Now he lives there alone. He taught me everything I know about Swordsmanship and Haki along with teaching me the truth of this world."
Anderson perked up in confusion and looked over at Harlen before asking Markus, "What truth?"
Markus smiled with such intensity that they were all blinded for a few moments.
"Everyone's truth is different. Mine is, might makes right! As long as I am strong enough no one can tell me what to do! No one can control me! No one can force me to go against my beliefs! I will be the Strongest in every way to make sure of that!" The Celestial Dragon Pirates were all stunned but agreed. Harlen was the first to break the silence with a small chuckle. Anderson looked at him and started giggling. Rebecca looked at both of them with a wry smile before she started laughing. Before anyone knew it everyone was booming with laughter!
Even with everyone laughing Markus could tell they all believed him. He was filled with pride seeing his crew so joyful and trusting. He felt like he had acquired a great crew. Markus smiled at his crew and laughed with them.
They sailed smoothly training on and off for the next week when one of the former marines came up to Markus.
"Commander! We can see an island in the distance!" Markus's smile widened.
"Full speed ahead!" The marine didn't leave and seemed to fidget with his hands. Markus raised an eyebrow and looked to him and gently asked, "What's wrong?"
"Uh sir we also spotted a few pirate ships. It seems the Overlord of the South Blue, "Mangy Lion" Malcolm with a bounty of 95 million is docked with his entire fleet." Markus became serious quickly as he stepped onto his ship's figurehead to take a look.
"Keep your distance and land on the other side of the island. There's a port over there though only one ship can dock. EVERYONE! ONTO THE MARINE SHIP! Take my sailing dragon a little further away would you please?" Markus issued orders that were immediately followed as a small group took his ship to circle the island, everyone else got on the marine ship and prepared for battle.
Markus was angry seeing so many ships fearing the worst they docked quickly. Markus looked around and was surprised to find the entire village was cleaned where only Shisu's house remained. Markus led his crew through the now cleaned former village of Fable Island.
Markus led his crew through the woods past the large pine towards the middle of the island where Markus could feel Conqueror's Haki pulsing throughout the island and it wasn't Shisu's. Markus unsheathed his sword and slashed through the woods creating a path that he angrily marched through.
"What the fuck is going on here?!" Markus shouted with blood red eyes. His own Conqueror's erupted protecting his crew and further suppressing all the pirates in the clearing. In the center of the area was a sword pulsing its own Conqueror's Spirit with a bloodied Shisu laying in front of it.
