The movie ended and they split up to their respective rooms. That's what Adriel thought, at least. After about twenty minutes of restless waiting, Ein slipped out of the guest bedroom, his mind racing with the job ahead.
As planned, Ein was heading over to the Red Tail bar to begin the operation: deliver the drug dealer to Avery. The sooner he could get the job done, the better.
The problem was, he wasn't sure about the barman's working hours, which meant he might be stuck waiting longer than necessary. If the barman recognized him, it could blow his chances at an easy last job.
Ein had to be careful not to be seen, but that wasn't going to be a problem for a man who moved like a shadow.
But seen he was—before he could even cross the doorstep.
"Where are you going?"
Ein halted, turning to face Adriel, who stood there, eyes sharp and alert despite the late hour.
