"Yes, you heard it right, he was behind my kidnapping. He asked Lin Fang and some of his men to kidnap me when I was 2 and a half years old."
"He then let Lin Fang drop me at a distant orphanage. She also placed Gu Tianchen in the orphanage near the home. That's when Gu Feitian suggested adoption."
"You were attracted to Gu Tianchen because he looked like me. You can guess why."
"Both father and son made my life miserable when I returned, so they never came to me unless pressed by the situation. All they wanted was for the family to be in their control."
By this time, all the girls present were crying hard. Zhao Lang was just mumbling "I am sorry, sorry, sorry."
Lei Feng looked away and controlled his emotions. After taking a few deep breaths, he looked at them.
"So I want revenge," he said in a firm tone.
Zhao Lang was completely defeated at this point, so she asked "What should I do now?"
"File a divorce," he replied.
The room went silent.
After 5 minutes or so Zhao Lang said, "I will do it."
Gu Jing'er and Gu Meng were still against it but they chose to stand with the family.
Gu Ling was happy while Lei Feng was relieved.
He made a call and asked the legal department to send a lawyer.
After an hour everything was finalized and they filed the case in the district court of the lotus city.
Lei Feng walked out with the lawyer to talk about the demands they would be making and Gu Ling followed them while adding points to the case.
Zhao Lang was sitting in her bed like she lost everything, although she agreed to the suggestion she knew Lei Feng would never forgive her.
That's when Gu Ling walked in. There was a voice in the hallway saying, "Take care of her."
Zhao Lang felt this one right in her core. She laughed and cried at the same time. The other two sisters were standing there smiling seeing their mother was better now. These were the tears of joy.

Gu Feitian took Gu Tianchen back to the Lotus City along with his mother. He wanted to confront his parents so they could stand on his side. After all, Zhao Lang was an outsider while this old group never favored the daughters or Lei Feng.
Gu Feitian wanted to keep his first-mover advantage. He called his lawyer to meet him tomorrow early morning. He booked the earliest flight and returned to his turf.
What he did not know was his dear wife had already filed a case against him.

The next day Gu Feitian received a court summon for a hearing in case of Zhao Fang vs Gu Feitian & Lin Fang for Divorce.
He was not expecting things to develop this fast. He hasn't done anything yet. If he loses this case he will have to give up a big chunk of his flesh to them.
(Remember? He owns 81% of the company now.)
He picked up his son to visit his parents and beg them to intervene. He also called the Zhao Family. Offering them generous conditions in return for this favor.

Zhao Lang and her daughters returned to the Lotus City. Lei Feng accompanied them as well to ensure that they didn't surrender under the pressure of both families. He knew how low Gu Feitian can play when it comes to money.
When they entered the villa the whole battalion was waiting for them, Gu Feitian, Gu Tianchen, Old Man Gu, and Grandma Gu.
On the other side were Zhao family members flattering the latter two.
When they entered the hall all eyes were glaring at them. Old Hags increased their haki and commanded: "Come here and kneel."
Zhao Lang followed the instructions on an instinctive basis but Gu Ling held her hand and prevented her from walking there.
Seeing this Old Mother Gu felt her majesty was challenged, she got up and picked a cane from the rack. Intending to beat her. Zhao Lang was scared and wanted to back away.
Right when the stick was about to hit her head a hand caught it and snatched the cane from her old hands.
"Old hag, don't treat me like air." Lei Feng announced his presence.
It was like a bomb explosion, the temperature of the room went through the roof. All the people present hated him more than ever.
"You want to rebel? How dare you bring this beast inside the house? Don't you know we have never recognized him as family?" Old woman Gu complained first.
Everyone started cursing Lei Feng, but he was unfazed. But what happened next flinched his heart.
"He is my son and your grandchild. How can you talk to him like this." Zhao Lang shouted back with all her might.
Old Man Gu said in a sonorous tone, "I only have one grandson, his name is Gu Tianchen. I will never acknowledge this wild beast as my own."
Zhao Lang felt the pain in her heart. Her child was bearing all this throughout his life. She stepped forward and shouted at him as well, "What grandson are you acknowledging? Huh?"
"This wild seed who is the result of your son cheating on me?" at this point Zhao Lang was shedding tears.
Lei Feng came forward and supported her.
Zhao Lang had all the support she needed in this world.
"You are trying to rebel? I will give you one last chance here. Kneel and apologize to Tianchen and Feitian, otherwise, you will never be able to step inside this house." Old Man Gu issued the ultimatum.
Zhao family people came forward to persuade but they were driven away by Lei Feng's aura.
Lei Feng stared them right in the eyes and said, "We don't need your charity or forgiveness. We want justice. For me and my mom."
"The court hearing is due in 4 days, if you want to compromise then beg for it. Also, no one knows who will stay in this house when I am done with you. Maybe you will be the one who is evicted. haha."
"Let's go," he said to others and left.
They were not expecting negotiations to break down so early. Everyone was left in a daze.

After a few hours of discussion, they could only wrong the most precious member of their side i.e. Gu Tianchen to seek forgiveness.
They knew he was the only guy who could turn this situation around.
"We can only wrong you Chen'er. I will get your revenge when everything is settled." Grandma Gu said lovingly.
"Ok grandma, I will do anything for the family (money)."
They planned to visit Zhao Lang in the evening.

Lei Feng and others booked a few rooms in the hotel because it was much safer than living outside. They silently ate lunch and returned to their rooms.
Gu Ling came to his room to ask how they should proceed to which he only said we would wait for them to come to us. We have the upper hand.

The next day Gu Meng received a call from Gu Feitian, asking her where are they. He wants to meet them.
She handed the phone to Lei Feng who replied, "We will meet at Central Coffee House at noon, sharp."
He then disconnected the phone.
Gu Feitian on the other hand was feeling irritated due to being led by the nose. But he needs to stabilize that crazy woman now or his career will be over.
