After returning to his room, Eldryn looked at the items he had selected as rewards. Without hesitation, he swallowed one Drop of 4th rank Time Essence and began using it to temper his body and soul.

This was the first time Eldryn experienced such an abundance of star power flowing through his body, especially time affinity power.
He used his Chaos Resonance technique to its fullest as he began to cultivate. Time passed, and Eldryn noticed that despite his efforts to refine the star power, he couldn't process all of it to nourish his seed. The excess time star power began to escape his body, causing an itching sensation that intensified as time went on. When Eldryn thought he might not be able to endure it any longer, a cracking sound emerged from within his body.
Simultaneously, his refining speed increased, and the itching sensation subsided. Eldryn realized that his time affinity seed had reached rank 1 after 5 long years.
