- Yeah, what about it... I still don't believe you. - Brud said sceptically, 'Well, I'm in no hurry, so I'll watch your efforts. Ha-ha. - He laughed snidely and turned round, starting to walk towards the exit.
Kai was now on the underground floor of the Alchemy Alliance near the silver gates. Everything here was also made of that beautiful white stone. The atmosphere was generally similar to the one in the main hall.
'Alright, let's see what they have prepared for me.' - Kai thought and pushed open the heavy doors.
Behind them opened up a vast space with a very smooth floor. It seemed to be a whole area underground that could fit hundreds of people.
- Wow... And why did he assign me all this territory... - Kai gave out harshly.
Looking around, Kai went to the centre, deciding to start the array from there. As soon as the energy lit up on his fingers, he instantly activated the Eyes of Essence. It was an incredible tool that multiplied Kai's efficiency many times over.
Quite some time had passed since the last time Kai had created a large-scale array. He was now in the Cloud Sphere and after absorbing the Kings, even his body had changed. He himself was curious to see how it would affect his array skill.
The array on Iris' sword wasn't something difficult for Kai. Because of that, he couldn't understand the magnitude of the change by practising on such a minor array. Of course, if one were to recognise Kai's thoughts, they would be aghast with indignation... How dare he call Iris's own array insignificant!
Except that with the Eyes of Essence, and the training on the arrays in Astral Grad that were on a completely different level, Kai's understanding was also in a different weight class. Perhaps he couldn't compare to the old men of the Array Alliance, as there was an insurmountable gap in experience and cultivation between them. But Kai's very understanding of the facets of Array Mastery was much deeper. This was precisely what was seen in the example of the Alchemy Enhancement Array.

This old man was one of the most authoritative people in the Alchemy Alliance. But the deciding factor, was his nasty temper....
No one wanted to confront him. Therefore, no one even asked what Kai was doing there all this time.....
Just at that moment, Kai pulled his fingers off the ground and stood up straightening his back. Droplets of sweat were dripping down his forehead and he was breathing heavily. It was obvious that his energy was severely depleted... But at the same time, a satisfied smile hung on his face.
- Hehehe... This is simply aheriffic! It seems to have worked! - Kai shouted out contentedly.
Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Kai sat in the lotus pose and closed his eyes. A faint swirl of energy slowly began to appear in the room with Kai at the epicentre. He decided to recover to his optimal state.
After an hour of time, he opened his eyes, stretched his arms out in front of him and shouted:
- Otherworldly Furnace Technique!
- Boom! - There was an explosive sound from the fire that instantly erupted in front of Kai.
With each passing second, that flame slowly took the shape of a large and mesmerisingly beautiful black furnace.
Finishing his array, Kai decided to test its effectiveness. And of course, it was better to do it himself! Only then would he be able to experience how much stronger his current version would be.
For the past three and a half weeks, Kai had been working hard to realise the new version of the Alchemy Enhancement Array. Previously, Kai had made a simplified version of it, as he simply didn't have the strength for a more complex version.
In the Astral Alchemy Emperor's personal chambers, the array was far more extravagant. Previously, Kai could only create the first of its anchor points. In the original, it was only one of the ten located around the perimeter of the huge circle. As they reunited, they converged at the centre of this circle, creating unique laws within it that aided the master in alchemy.
Previously, Kai had critically lacked the energy and stamina to draw such a giant. Even if he spent a lot of time and drew ten separate arrays around the perimeter, he wouldn't be able to connect them. In this process, one had to bear the tremendous pressure of 10 arrays at once, and still be able to harmoniously combine them into one whole. Kai's body and Energy Centre would simply not be able to withstand such a load.
Kai sat in the lotus position and created one of the most difficult pills for him. Previously, it had taken him an impressive amount of time to create it. But now it was very smooth. Most of all, Kai was surprised by the amount of nutrients after processing. It seemed that it was impossible to squeeze any more out of the ingredient! It was as if the fire had only burned away the impurities, leaving the best at the alchemist's disposal!
- The final touch... - Kai said to himself, bringing his palms together.....
- Dum! - There was the sound of the lid flying up slightly and something flew out from underneath it.
Three purple pills landed in Kai's palm. Three whole pills!
- Wow... The efficiency had definitely increased by leaps and bounds... At the same time, the process itself was quite pleasant. The old people will definitely love it! Hehehe... - Kai laughed with a sly smile.
He was very pleased with the work he had done. All his efforts were definitely worth the results! Surprisingly, this large area really came in handy for him.
