Slowly time passed, and Kai chucked in ingredient after ingredient, paying no attention to the old man. But if he looked, at the Magister's face... To put it mildly, he would be surprised....
Two hours later, Kai brought his hands together, and the lid of the furnace flew into the air. The old man quickly jerked up and flew over to the furnace, looking at what was inside. There was a scarlet pill with purple lines floating there now.
