Bale's breaths were ragged with gasps as he stumbled through the door of his villa, every step he took was painful. The image of Aiden's cold, disdainful eyes replayed in his mind, over and over as the pain of his rejection coursed through his veins, burning hotter with each breath.
Bale shivered.
The hurting in his chest weakening him by every passing second. He found himself clutching at his shirt, trying to fight through it. But nothing worked.
