Aiden.
With heavy breaths, I watched him pull back instinctively, eyes even brighter than before. His arms that were once wrapped around my waist were now on the rail I sat on as he took his head down, restraint written over his body movements.
"You okay?" My palms found its way to his hair, shock evident in his eyes as he took them back to me. "... Yeah... Just tired".
He muttered but something else flickered on his orbs as he spoke. "You're getting bolder". He tells me, taking my palms in his for the first time, leaving me staring back at the only thing my eyes found enticing.
I bit back my tongue when the actual words left my mouth without realizing it. "Has anyone told you that your eyes sparkle?"
He raised his brow to my words and I took my eyes down instantly, embarrassed from my words. Slowly, he exposed a grin. "No, they never stare back". His deep voice making my insides churn as they filled my hearing.
