Aiden.
The next day I woke up staring at the ceiling.
My head was clear now. The voices and the buzzing sounds had stopped but the incident of the previous night was on replay in my eyes.
His voice was etched to my memory, likewise his eyes. I gritted my teeth to the thought of him as I pushed my fingers that were once fisted through my hair.
Last night was chaotic. My actions and behavior will still remain a mystery to me because I have no words to describe what came over me.
Even with Sal trying to calm me, all I could think of was murder.
When I returned back home, they were already back and asleep. I could hear them toss and turn, and I was thankful that I came back late because I didn't want to face them. I knew they would want an explanation somewhat and I didn't have any.
I guess I'll be skipping school for a while.
As I rolled down from the sheets, I strolled into the bathroom, washing my face and staring at the stranger on the surface of the water in awe. The bloodthirsty monster behind those crimson red orbs; he was waiting patiently for the right moment to scare the shit out of me, to sway my emotions.
I took my eyes off my reflection instantly, dashing into the washroom and under the shower.
I freshened up quickly and dashed out of the room, ready to face Sal and Dammy with the excuse I came up with in shower.
As I strolled down the stairs, I was greeted with unfamiliar scents, causing me to furrow.
I could smell a fox, a couple of vampires, and some dire-wolves. Amidst them were serpents.
That's odd... Do we have visitors?
When my feet merged with the last stair, I was greeted by countless pairs of eyes. They all stood in the lounge, no sense of familiarity hitting me. A few of them were dressed in suits and the ones that stood behind wore matching red jumpsuits that spelled out C-O-D-E X
They all watched me with caution, eyes following my every move.
What's going on?
My eyes fell on Sal and Dammy seated quietly on the couch without glancing my way. When they finally brought their eyes on me, they didn't utter or say a single word, both of them just staring at me with pity, giving me a look of 'this is out of our hands'
I take my eyes back to the men in suit and one of them at the middle stepped forward with the sternest and coldest expression I have ever seen. I could smell him from here. He is a fox.
"Aiden Hellhawker? Are you Aiden Hellhawker?" He questioned and I nodded.
"Yes, can I help you?" My eyes remained on him.
He exhaled, crossing both arms behind him as though he was inspecting. "You have been summoned by the board for immediate trial, please come with us".
Salvador instantly took his head down in damnation and disbelief as he exhaled hopelessly in disappointment not daring to glance my way.
What the fuck?
A trial?
Like the one they had with Bale?
I furrowed. "What? Why?" I ask but instead of answering me, he gave a signal to the men in the jumpsuit uniform and they extended cautiously to my sides.
"Please cooperate with us". The man informs me nodding to the men that closed in behind me.
What have I done?
Why am I being treated like a threat?
I wanted to agree to this but to hell if I'm going to be tagged a dangerous specie like that Mutt.
"Don't touch me". I warned them but they closed in even more cautiously, bringing out weapons that resembled silver.
Instantly, my defence mood was activated. My orbs brightened and my fangs stretched out. These guys wanted to hurt me.
Damien stood up "Hey you can't use that on him, it could kill him! He protested trying to intervene when Salvador grabbed him, restraining him as he fought to come to my aid. "Stay away from him, he did nothing wrong, Sal tell them".
His efforts were worthless because Salvador already pinned him down, watching me while shaking his head.
He wanted me to stop and comply but I will never turn myself in for nothing. My claws pushed their way out and the first person that attempted to touch me tasted its sharpness without mercy. I marked his face, trapping the rest on air, leaving the fox staring in disbelief.
I saw the fear in his eyes as he stepped back on reflex.
The dire-wolves aimed at me but I ran towards them with the speed of light, wrapping my palm around the neck of the first one in my grip, desire to taste from the throbbing on his neck just at the tip of my tongue. I almost squeeze the life out of him with my bare hands as my claws dug deep into his flesh, spilling the warm moist liquid that drove me insane on the floor.
The voices in my head were back in full control, whispering words that were not from me. I am losing control of myself the more the smell of blood waffs through my nostrils.
Everyone was a threat to me.
In no time, I am in front of the Fox but he never saw me coming. I wanted to hurt him. I wanted to taste his blood. The buzzing sound was back. His orbs met mine and before he could protest it, his mind was an open book for me. I took control of his head.
He was nothing but a puppet to me right now, my fangs glistening to dig into his flesh.
And just when I was about to suck him dry, I felt the metal at the back my head and everything blacked out.
Salvador's eyes were the last thing I saw.

When I opened my eyes again, I was in a room so bright causing me to squint my eyes.
I was weak.
I could hear faint voices of people arguing. It sounded as though they were in the opposite room but that wouldn't be the case if their voices appeared faint.
One of the voice yelled "YOU ADMITTED A DANGEROUS SPECIE WITHOUT OUR CONSENT BECAUSE OF HIS STATUS?" It was the voice of a woman. One I recognize but too weak to remember.
