I took a step back and turned to walk out, knowing that I was going to need to find my wife before something happened to her. She didn't know what she was going out to, and the world outside wasn't the kind one that she believed it was. Fucks sake, the woman didn't even have a phone with her for me to be able to reach her.
I walked out of the building, knowing that calling Arturo was something that I had to do. But being her mate, I also knew that I would easily be able to catch her scent. I just needed to know where to look when I searched for it.
