"You go inside. I'll keep you posted if we need anything." I heard the Alpha say, looking at his beta through the rear mirror.
It was one of the few times that I rode a car, and though I did my best not to show it, I couldn't help but find myself keeping my eyes out the window as I took in everything that I could see, knowing that I might not see it again unless the Alpha allowed me to go out.
I went to open the door only to be surprised by the Alpha putting his hand on my knee, stopping me. I looked at him and he nodded in assurance before removing his hand. "Not you,"
"Did I do anything wrong?" I asked, and he raised an eyebrow at me.
"Did I say that you did?" He asked, and I shook my head, fearing his reaction. He looked at me, studying my expression for a second, and I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. "I am going to take you out. The two of us should be able to get to know one another in private."
