Lucian headed for the dungeons, unsure if he should really be doing the bidding of someone who planned on infiltrating the castle. He still had no idea how Ronald planned on accomplishing those words, but he didn't let it bother him. If he was just going to break Edmund out without causing a commotion, then Lucian couldn't care less.
"Another visit from my dear little brother? What is it this time, are you hurt? Did daddy not buy your favorite toy?" Edmund jeered the second his eyes fell on Lucian's figure.
The prince ignored his brother's taunts, and approached the cell door with a measured pace, his face a mask of indifference. Edmund's mocking words echoed in the damp, cold air, but Lucian refused to let them provoke him. He had grown accustomed to his brother's sharp tongue, and didn't let the insults bother him a little bit.
