Chapter 79 - Chapter 79

In the meantime, Qiki walked into the room in quickened footsteps, her eyes brimming with tears.

"Young Lady Yoeri just doesn't let me inform you of her arrival... Young Master... I..."

"From now on, you have to report to me anyone who enters my room in advance." Le Xaan said calmly.

"Yes... Understood..." Qiki lowered her head and replied with acknowledgement. She was a little unnerved by Le Xaan's solemn tone.

Le Xaan cast a glance at her before walking out of the room, the saber in hand.

In recent days, he felt that he had become more and more thirsty for fights. A peaceful, secure environment felt at odds with his cultivation in Dark Shadow. At times, he felt like killing people in an unbridled manner. Perhaps this was the side effects of Dark Shadow.

The next day, the streets were bustling with people. Some of them paraded along the roads while singing the festival songs. Some watched all sorts of performances, including acrobatic and animal shows, etc.

Various activities packed the avenues. The closer to the city center, the more bustle and hustle were seen.

Le Xaan, as usual, practiced the two sets of Qi cultivation methods and the palm and blade techniques. He didn't go to the appointed location with Soan Jingor until the twilight fell.

The designated spot was beneath a row of willows by the Pine River.

When Le Xaan reached the place, Soan Jingor was already waiting there along with Chin Gerron.

"Brother Le, you're too slow!" Soan Jingor walked up and patted Le Xaan's shoulder with a hearty laughter. "Gerron and I have been waiting for you for a while now."

Since Wein Zikua's incident, Soan Jingor had saw through the facade of his previous close friends and gradually grew distant with them.

At present, only two persons could be considered intimate with Soan Jingor.

The first one was Chin Wensy's elder brother, Chin Gerron.

Le Xaan was deemed as the second one.

Today, Soan Jingor would be taking Kunny home from the pleasure cruiser. He invited Le Xaan and Chin Gerron to bear witness to the occasion and celebrate it together.

Originally, he planned to do it alone. However, after reconsidering, he found it too improper, considering how significant this event was to him and that they were his best friends.

Therefore, in the end he still wrote the invitation letters to the two of them.

"Today is a special, blissful day for Brother Soan to consummate the relationship with his lover. Ha ha ha... Brother Soan, are you inviting us two here to covet your happiness? That makes me jealous. " Chin Gerron said with a smile.

"Brother Soan is so focused on his own happiness. Why would he waste time thinking about our envy?" Le Xaan interjected with a quipping tone.

"I won't say much. Let's go. No more delay. Go to the ship first! I've prepared your shares of the pleasures!" Soan Jingor said in a delightful mood.

Upon hearing this, Chin Gerron seemed to have been intrigued. Soon, the three of them found their way before the red ship after a brief walk.

The large vessel was currently steadily floating by the port. Many patrons were seen aboard it, creating a lively scene.

On the flank of the cruiser, Kunny stared hard at Soan Jingor's group unconvincingly out of window, her eyes wide.

"Why? Why! Brother Soan had promised me that he wouldn't come today!" Her face ashen, Kunny clasped his hand around the corner of a table. Unwittingly, she had bitten her lower lip so hard that it was bleeding.

"How could it be like this?" Kunny was in deep despair now. She was aware that her master's objective was Soan Jingor. That's why she had stealthily warned him not to come here today. But why would he be here now? And so joyfully?

Kunny felt that her body went limp momentarily. She couldn't even muster the slightest bit of strength. She was of a mind to rush out of the room to look for Soan Jingor and to urge him to leave right away. Yet, she knew that she couldn't do it.

"Hehehe..."

Suddenly, a shrill female sniggering voice rang out from a corner of the room.

Kunny instantly turned her head and looked over.

It was unknown when, but a white-dressed woman was sitting on the bed.

Her long hair was like shawl, draping over her face, making her countenance indiscernible. The woman was so skinny that a strong breeze could topple her.

Her hair was a glossy black color, reaching down to her waist and covering her front.

"It's me who makes him come here..." The woman replied to Kunny's question with a snickering voice.

"No... you can't do it..." Kunny felt that her body was lacking in the least bit of strength as profound hopelessness suffused her mind. Rivulets of tears trickled down her cheeks.

The woman slowly stood up and walked toward her.

"Soan Jingor is a prey we have been expecting for so long. But you want to let him get away? That's a violation of our rules, you know?

So I had written a letter to him in the name of you, in the same way as yours... Look, not only does he come, he also brings along two fresh blood offerings... So good..."

They had plotted against customers with a special birth date like Soan Jingor for a long time. None of these targets were allowed to slip away. After all, such people were treasures rare beyond compare.

Her face covered in tears, Kunny felt so weak that even the slightest movement seemed impossible, allowing the woman to caress her face and then reach into her temple before slowly churning her brains.

As the woman's hand stirred inside her skull, Kunny's eyes changed from sorrowful to flirtatiously charming while her skin grew more lustrous. A faint alluring aroma pervaded the air now.

But the long-haired woman still noticed a heartbreaking tinge of despair deep within Kunny's eyes.

"Stay here alone before you sober up. As for Soan Jingor, I will dispatch another girl to hold him down." The woman detected a trace of abnormality in Kunny. So, she promptly withdrew her hand and coldly harrumphed before vanishing in the room.

Kunny was left alone in the room, her eyes brimming with tears.

........

Soan Jingor came aboard the ship alongside Le Xaan and Chin Gerron.

"Young Master Soan, Young Master Chin, Young Master Le, your show has been arranged. We've been waiting for your arrival." The moment they stepped onto the deck, the middle-aged hostess hurriedly walked over, beaming at them.

"Where's Kunny?" Soan Jingor asked with a smile.

"She's still dressing herself up. Young Master Soan, you must treat Kunny tenderly tonight." The hostess replied while chuckling softly.

"Of course, I will!" Soan Jingor could not help but laughing. Then, they entered a private room.

When the three of them sat down in the room, moonlight poured in, reminiscent of a piece of gossamer. The nighttime sight out of the window was murky.

After ushering them into the room, the thirtyish hostess didn't leave. She clapped her hands before a stream of women wearing veils swarmed in.
