Chapter 9 - The Beginning of My Adventure I

"Ahhh!!"

My eyes suddenly opened. I gasped in shock. Cold sweat soaked my body which also felt stiff. Suddenly I felt very alive. Like a zombie who had just been given life.

I coughed and blood suddenly poured out of my mouth. I looked at my hands which were stained with my coughed up blood. I widened my eyes.

"What is this?!" I'm surprised.

A woman who I didn't realize had been supporting me looked so surprised.

Who is she? Her hair is long brownish blonde. His blue eyes looked at me full of surprise before finally softening again. His face looked so relieved.

Both of our bodies were soaked from the heavy rain. I slowly sat up. Staring at her in confusion.

"Who are―you?!!" I asked.

"Watch out!" she shouted suddenly and cut off my word.

The woman suddenly hugged me while jumping backwards. I fell towards her. A bullet almost hit us. The bullet then exploded. I was shocked to death.

The woman sighed, "That was almost."

In a ravine above me there was a man who was standing looking at the two of us. A revolver was clutched in his hand.

His appearance was so strange. He is a bearded man in cowboy clothes with a mysterious aura. His gray irises stared at me as if he intended to pounce on me.

The man in the cowboy then shot as fast as light and grabbed me, "It's useless for you guys to run."

The woman immediately shouted hysterically, "Awaii!!"

"Who the hell are you! What happen again now! Just let me free and died!! Argh!" I screamed in pain.

The man then strangled my neck while lifting me up. I then rebelled but it was in vain.

The woman shouted, "Let her go! What do you want with my daughter?!"

He swiftly took out a pink crystal bow which just appeared from her hand.

The bow then glowed. An arrow appeared as soon as she pulled the arrow string. She directed the arrow at the man in the cowboy in front of her.

Too bad the man didn't even pay attention to the woman in front of him at all. All his attention was focused on me.

"Before you could release that arrow, your daughter's body might have been torn apart." threatened the cowboy man casually.

"Let go of my daughter!" snapped the woman.

The woman was about to shoot the cowboy, but her whole body was shaking. She hesitated to shoot. She then looked at me with a frightened look.

While I myself groaned in pain. I can't breathe. I kicked his chest with my foot, but that only made his stranglehold tighter.

"What did you put―into my body?" I asked choked up.

I feel strange. It felt like there was something―fluid entering my body. This man's fingers turned into claws and pierced my neck. Blood flowed past my nose and lips.

My consciousness was getting weaker and weaker. I couldn't move my body again. My whole body was weak and my breath was roaring.

My eyes were dimly looking at the sky which was pouring out its feelings on me. I'm scared. My body trembled. I feel like I want to crying.

The man grinned, "Oh? It's just a liquid, dear. You don't need to worry."

"This blood will tell you a very extraordinary power." he continued.

"Who are you?! I don't understand what you mean!" I screamed in pain.

"Oh? We met some time ago, how could you forget me?" Obviously said the man.

"My name is Revanov. Remember that dear, because we will be partners after this." he continued.

The man who claimed to be Revanov strangled me harder. My neck would break if he continued strangling me. I coughed. Blood was pouring from my neck.

Revanov stared at me sharply. "Kid, you are someone who is blessed with the power of a god. But even with that much power, you are unable to fight me."

"It seems you have the wrong person." I answered.

"Don't be stupid." He growled as he continued to strangle me strongly.

"Stop it, I don't understand what you're talking about―Agh―" I groaned

Deg―

A voice suddenly emerged from inside my head.

"Welcome back." Greet a girl.

Bzzt―

"Awaii!! Please, save Asteria―argh―"

"Look!! Everyone died hoping for you! Why didn't you do anything! You just―killed them all!"

"What happen to you all this time?"

"Awaii.."

Bzzt―

Whose voice is this? Why are they all over my head?

Bzzt―

"Do you like roses?"

"No, I like tulips. Those with the pink color. So perfect."

"You stupid kid. Why can't you be normal like other kids?"

Plakk!!

"Awaii!"

"Stop, stop appearing inside my head!!"

"The god of life."

"Stop, that's enough, who are you guys?!"

"4£ @*"*?!1"

"Stop.."

"My name is A―@()/!(d." Called my voice from inside my head.

"ARGHHH!!!" I SCREAMED.

Bzzt―

My eyes suddenly opened. I felt like I was connected to the stars in the sky above.

My body immediately warmed suddenly burning white burned my body. The fire healed all the wounds and pain I felt.

"Magic?!" I said weakly.

Revanov was immediately shocked he choked. His monster hand immediately threw me to the ground while hissing in pain.

I fell to the ground. Using all my strength, I struggled to stand up.

The cowboy man looked in pain. He patted his burnt hand. But the white fire burned even more on her body.

"Impossible―" shocked the woman.

I turned to the woman beside me, "Let me go. I have to do something."

The woman let go of me and took out her bow again, "No. Stay here, you won't be able to fight him. And we won't be able to beat him, that body is not his real body."

Set―

Bang! Bang! Bam!

Revanov fired his revolver again but failed because he was shot by the woman's arrow.

"Lux scutum." said the woman while closing her eyes.

A light blue glowing crystal shield suddenly appeared around us. Revanov's bullet immediately shattered as soon as it hit the shield.

"What?! This power―" said Revanov in surprise.

Set―

The woman suddenly appeared in front of Revanov and shot her arrow.

Bang! Revanov fired his bullet and made his arrow break. He dodged up and fired a bullet at me but was immediately tripped by a stone.

Swish!

Hera shot her arrow again and broke Revanov's revolver. He kicked Revanov and threw herself backwards.

"Argk" groaned Revanov.

Revanov didn't have time to dodge. He bounced and fell to the ground. He groaned in pain.

The woman behind me who saw this opportunity immediately took out her bow again and pointed it at the sky, "Awaii! Get away from there!"

I gasped before nodding and immediately moving away.

The woman stood up. Elegantly, his left hand immediately held the bow and the other pulled back the transparent thread on the bow. A glass arrow appeared again.

The woman immediately closed her eyes and looked up at the sky.

"Sagitta Dei." said the woman slowly, "Stellaaspiciens angelum."

(Arrow of the Gods, Angel of the stars.)

She immediately aimed her arrow which was shining brightly blue at the sky. The arrow turned into a giant arrow that shot out while emitting light with a tail like a comet.

As soon as the arrow passed through the clouds. The rain immediately stopped and the sky immediately turned bright. The stars seemed to sparkle in the sky. And the arrows kept shooting into the sky.

The woman looked expectantly at the sky. Suddenly Revano was about to get up, but his body immediately disappeared."

The woman smiled in relief, "Thank God."

I looked at her in surprise, "What did you just do..."

My consciousness suddenly disappeared. I was tired and immediately fell.

The woman immediately ran to hug me so I wouldn't fall. The woman slowly calmed down cold.

He smiled in relief, "I'm glad, nothing bad happened."

"You...who...?" I asked half-consciously.

The woman tilted her head in amusement, "Hera. Hera Auclair. Yur mother. Take it easy. Mama will carry you."

"My mother..?" I asked again.

Sleep slowly devoured me. This woman named Hera immediately carried me and walked away leaving this wilderness.

She traced the rocky river channel from the waterfall where I had fought until I reached the foot of the mountain. There was a car on the side of the highway near the fence.

The view of the sky filled with stars continued to shine illuminated by the moonlight accompanied by every twinkle in the decoration of a galaxy lane. It looked very beautiful, unlike my world which was covered in light pollution.
