"Konan?" Kazuki asked, already knowing the answer.
"You know me?" Konan furrowed her brow, carefully examining Kazuki, but she couldn't remember ever meeting him.
"Good, it seems I got the right person. After all, there's no one else in this ninja world who can use Paper Style," Kazuki said with a slight smile.
"May I ask what your purpose is here? Nagato came as well, didn't he?"
Hearing Nagato's name, Konan couldn't keep calm anymore. She asked with a look of shock and disbelief,
"Who exactly are you? How do you know about Nagato?"
Even within the Akatsuki organization, only a few people knew of Nagato's existence—apart from 'Uchiha Madara' and Zetsu, there shouldn't be a third outsider aware of Nagato! How could this young man in front of her know about Nagato?
"Who I am doesn't matter. What's important is that I have something crucial to discuss with him. Can you introduce me?" Kazuki said casually.
Konan continued to frown, uncertain of Kazuki's true intentions. If Kazuki were to attack Nagato, she might not be able to protect him, especially since Pain was currently invading Konoha!
After thinking it over, Konan responded coldly, "No, it's not convenient."
Kazuki shrugged, looking indifferent, "Well, in that case, as long as you're in my hands, he will come to find me eventually."
Konan was about to say something when Kazuki used Genjutsu, completely controlling her and rendering her speechless.
"Karin, find a box and put her in it," Kazuki instructed.
Karin looked at the wooden box nearby, then at Konan. It seemed like their mission was more about kidnapping than anything else!
In no time, Konan was packed up as well. Karin, dragging two large wooden boxes, led the way.
Soon, they encountered another intruder, someone they were quite familiar with—Kisame! To Kazuki's surprise and delight, Kisame was not alone. Beside him stood a bored-looking masked man.
"Kazuki-kun, is this the person you were looking for?" Karin asked.
Kazuki nodded, "Ah, we finally found him. But there's still one more, I'm not sure if it's nearby. Karin, use your Mind's Eye of the Kagura to sense the area and check for any unusual chakra or a strange presence!"
"On it!" Karin placed the wooden boxes down, closed her eyes, and began to sense the surroundings. A moment later, she opened her eyes and shook her head at Kazuki,
"Sorry, Kazuki-kun, I didn't sense anything unusual."
Kazuki felt a bit disappointed. "I see. Well, let's deal with this one first. But he's trick,; I can't say for sure that I can keep him here."
"Is there really someone you can't handle, Kazuki-kun?" Karin asked in surprise, knowing Kazuki's abilities—Flying Thunder God and top-level Taijutsu techniques. She couldn't believe there was anyone who could escape from him.
"There's always someone stronger," Kazuki sighed, feeling the pressure of facing powerful enemies like Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, and Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki. Even though he hadn't watched Boruto before, he knew this world held unknown dangers.
"Kisame got caught by you last time, so you mean the masked man, right?" Karin's gaze fell on Uchiha Obito.
"He doesn't look menacing at all, he doesn't seem powerful either. Is he really as formidable as you say?"
"Never judge someone by their appearance, you'll see soon enough," Kazuki replied as he moved closer to Uchiha Obito, hoping to catch him off guard or engage in a battle of wits.
Suddenly, a blue flash swept through the area, sending Kisame flying dozens of meters away with a single kick!
"Huh? Isn't that the bowl-cut Jōnin? He just kicked Kisame away like it was nothing!" Karin exclaimed in surprise.
"Might Guy is here," Kazuki muttered, stroking his chin as he saw Uchiha Obito still observing the situation. Deciding to wait, he thought,
"Let's watch Might Guy's live battle against Kisame! Even 3D anime isn't as vivid as this!"
