"Where are you going?" Kazuki asked.
"I'm going to destroy their families and then kill Danzo Shimura and the other high-level members of Konoha," Sasuke said calmly, as if discussing something routine.
Little did he know that facing Danzo in his prime with his current strength would be a dead end.
"Don't rush. It's dawn now, and many Konoha ninjas are preparing for their missions. It's not the right time to attack their entire clans. Wait until nightfall," Kazuki suggested.
Sasuke glanced out the window. The sky had turned blue, and the sun had already taken its place in the sky.
"Alright, I'll wait until evening."

Silence fell.
Everyone present knew the truth behind the Uchiha massacre, even if it wasn't openly discussed. They understood the connection between the Uchiha clan and Konoha's leadership, and they knew who had ordered Uchiha Itachi to carry out the massacre.
The leaders of the major families weren't fools. They could guess the truth with the pieces of information they had, though none of them openly objected to the outcome.
If Itachi hadn't done it, it would have fallen on them to act, with their own clans suffering the consequences.
