Jacquelyn kept watching Chaos from the corner of her eye; she really felt bad for the boy, and every time he rubbed the side of his head, Jacquelyn would press her lips tightly. If only the boy had kept his mouth shut and hadn't said anything at all.
When Chaos stretched his hand forward to pick up a bowl of sauce, Jacquelyn quickly stood up and passed it to the boy with a small smile.
Iva frowned, folding her legs on the chair. "Lyn, that boy can be really annoying. Don't treat him like a child."
"Haha…" Jacquelyn chuckled dryly. "He's still a child."
Chaos nodded, stuffing his face with more food. "Thank you for recognizing my innocence, sister-in-law," the boy mumbled with the food in his mouth scattering in the air. He swallowed what he was chewing and turned to glare at Iva. "Finally, someone pities my situation."
