[Music Recommendation: Breathe ~ Lee Hi]
Jacquelyn peeked outside the gate, looking around for Kael. She found him standing close to a tree, staring blankly into space. "Husband!" Jacquelyn whispered, running to stand beside him. "Did you call me out so we can enjoy our morning alone?" she asked with a happy smile.
Kael turned around and nodded, pushing his arm out for Jacquelyn to slip her arm into his. Then he continued staring. "Little wife," he said, his voice low and gentle.
"Mm?" Jacquelyn answered, looking around the place for something that held her interest, but it was just trees and rocks.
"I'm going to tell you this... just this once," he said, turning Jacquelyn around to face him. Then he tipped her chin up with his fingers. "If you can feel my presence, then be rest assured that no harm can ever come to you."
Jacquelyn nodded her head slowly, unsure what Kael was talking about.
