After bathing, Jacquelyn stood in front of the closet, practicing how to convince Kael to join her for breakfast. He had never eaten with them, and she was sure he wouldn't want to sit with them. But Jacquelyn needed him; if he was there, everyone else would be too scared of him to tease her.
Rummaging through her dresses, she searched for something simple to wear while thinking of how to get Kael to join breakfast.
"Ahem," Jacquelyn cleared her throat when she finally picked out a gown. She brought it out, placing it against her chest first. It was a red dress with lacy sleeves and a v-shaped neck that revealed her chest. Jacquelyn smiled, remembering what she had heard from women in the market, this could help get on her husband's good side. Last time she had failed, but she was very sure of herself this time, especially after last night.
