Jacquelyn waved at Iva. From where she was standing, the girl looked like she had seen a ghost, making Jacquelyn wonder if something had happened earlier. "Iva, let's go."
"O-oh yes...um, yes," Iva stuttered, dragging her feet as she followed them back to the stand. Picking a corn from the stack, Jacquelyn chewed on it slowly as she watched the performers with deep interest. Though focused on the dancers, Jacquelyn felt someone's eyes on her. She tried to shake it off, but the sensation became more intense. When she turned, she saw Iva look away immediately.
Jacquelyn cleared her throat and turned to look at Iva again. This time, their eyes met, but Iva quickly looked away before quietly leaving the area.
