She had been trying to let out her emotions, but somehow, she must have crossed the line and hurt Griselda's feelings with her words. This was the first time she had ever had a serious issue that led to heated arguement with Griselda; in the past, they would argue, but it always ended on a playful note because Jacquelyn would pretend she wasn't hurt at all. But this time, Jacquelyn wanted to truly express how she felt.
It was already tough to think about living with Kael, who would never age. She had wanted to bury it deep inside and continue living, but Griselda had made it worse by calling her decisions childish.
