Jacquelyn stirred in her sleep, trying to stretch her body on the bed. She rolled to the side only to crash on the smooth floor.
"Ow," she mumbled, rubbing her head gently. It was then that she realized she had fallen asleep on the couch, not on the bed. She stretched her body and stifled a yawn. Remembering that Kael had been with her in the room before she fell asleep, she turned and found him sleeping on the couch.
He was in the same position as before, one leg crossed over the other, arms folded across his chest, and eyes closed peacefully. Jacquelyn couldn't help but wonder how a person could sleep so elegantly. One thing she knew for sure was that it could never be her. She could barely sleep calmly on a bed, and just the thought of sleeping with her legs and arms crossed stressed her out.
