Inside one of the rooms in Morville Castle, the women prepared for the wedding. Jacquelyn helped arrange Iva's dresses on the bed, setting them by color, then moved back and stared at them thoughtfully for a moment.
"No, red is too much color," she nodded, removing red from the lot and adding a simpler color of peach.
Iva pointed at the dress, "Too pretty, I want black."
Griselda shook her head, "No black for a bride." She moved a basin of water, using it to wash Iva's feet carefully.
"Ugh," Iva groaned as she rubbed her stomach. "Grisie, can I go to pee?"
Griselda nodded, using a dry towel to wipe her legs. "I'll wait until you're back."
"Me too," Layla, who was playing in the corner of the room, raised her hand.
"My Lala needs to pee too?" Iva asked with a smile before picking the girl up from the ground and tickling her.
Jacquelyn couldn't help but laugh, watching Iva and Layla's bond grow day by day.
