With Jacquelyn's wings disappearing, Kael helped her land on the ground carefully. He discarded the last piece of the cloth he'd used to wrap Jacquelyn's face.
"I-I'm sorry," Jacquelyn stuttered when the man had pinned her down, and she felt trapped. The only one on Jacquelyn's mind was Kael, and she wanted to scream for help, but there was no escape or moving for her. The next thing she remembered was being up there and almost hurting Kael.
