"How well can you handle your liquor?" Ryver asked Rune, staring at him with a slightly annoyed glint in his eyes.
Rune turned around and scoffed, "Are you asking me to drink with you?"
"No, I'm asking you to prove how well you can handle your liquor, and I'll know whether to respect you or not," Ryver replied with a dismissive shrug.
Rune smirked. "Why should I prove to you my drinking skills? I don't answer to you!"
"Of course, you don't," Ryver smacked his tongue. "You're scared, and I know. I'll let Kael's little brother hide away in fear then," he said, starting to walk away as if he had not just hurt Rune's pride.
Rune stood there with his mouth hung open. "What? Kael's little brother?" he said, looking around to ensure nobody heard them. Then he walked after Ryver.
"You, wait there. What are you even doing in Kael's castle? And who are you to everyone here?" he asked, but Ryver didn't turn to look at him or reply.
