"Huh?" Jacquelyn blinked. She'd suspected something had happened to her body, but trapping Doom's power in her body wasn't among them.
"Is everything okay with me?" Jacquelyn asked, trying her best not to panic.
Kael shifted his eyes away from Jacquelyn's chest and settled them on her face. He tried to see if there were any physical changes, but there were none. Her blue eyes and her auburn hair. The innocence in her eyes and smile was still there.
"I think you're perfect, love," Kael replied. "Absolutely nothing wrong with you, little wife." He smiled and pecked Jacquelyn's lips.
"If you can heal yourself, then there are other things you can do too. All you have to do is harness Doom's power," Kael suggested, standing up with Jacquelyn on his body, then carefully putting her down to stand on her feet.
