Ballister could only blame himself for thinking his master would suddenly turn into someone pure in heart and angelic. It wasn't the maids that had lies inherent in them; it was his master who was twisted, the young boy thought to himself as he followed his master into the inn where Ballister wasn't sure if he would leave with a complete limb.
"Please don't kill me!" was the scream from a man sitting on a wooden chair with beads of sweat streaming down the sides of his face while his trembling leg was placed on the table. A young woman with auburn hair holding a butcher's knife grinned maniacally.
"Don't kill you?" the demoness Jacquelyn sneered. "Didn't you accept to play the game with me?"
