As Kael left the girl's room, making his way toward his reading room, the only place he could find peace and relax, he wasn't surprised that the girl didn't have any memory of what had happened the previous night or how she had asked him to treat her like a woman. Kael rubbed his fingers on his temples. Stress. Something he had never felt before, but thanks to the girl, it was now an everyday feeling.
"Master, a letter came in for you." Ballister, who had just arrived at the passage, stretched his hand forward, handing his master a sealed parchment.
Kael took the letter from the boy and saw the seal, a shield with a cross. He immediately knew it was from Kishadel. Wondering what it could be about, as they never wrote to him for any reason, he unfolded the parchment and read the words slowly:
