Aunt Wang, hearing the noise outside, got up from the bedroom and saw Ye Shu and Huo Shenting sitting at the dining table, a look of surprise on her face.

Ye Shu squeezed out a faint smile, looked at Aunt Wang, and said softly with an awkward expression on her face,
"Both of us haven't had dinner tonight."
Ye Shu had thought she was the only one who hadn't eaten, and was completely surprised to find out that Huo Shenting hadn't either. Seeing his earnestness about cooking, she had assumed that he was skilled in the kitchen.
It turned out he was just putting on an act.
