Ye Shu was stuffed into the car by Huo Shenting and was only then able to stick her head out.
Her hair was completely disheveled, and when she carefully poked her head out from the coat, she looked so pitiful that one would want to embrace her and love her dearly.
However, Huo Shenting resisted the impulse, though his extended hand could not be retracted, and he ended up pulling on the coat and covering Ye Shu's head again.
Ye Shu pressed her lips together, daring not make any further movement.
The driver started driving upon Huo Shenting's instructions.
As the car drove down the road, Huo Shenting had the driver lower the backseat window, and the cold wind blew in, dissipating much of his anger.
Ye Shu shivered and huddled closer into Huo Shenting's chest.
But then she smelled the perfume of another woman on his coat, and immediately threw off his coat, sticking her head out the window to vomit everything she had eaten and drunk that evening.
