Ye Shu stood at the entrance of the hallway, listening to Ye Wenzhao's full of apologies, and her heart was only filled with irony. They must think that she still didn't know anything.

To have such an imposing man stand in their Ye family's living room today was indeed a shock for Wenzhao.
"Mr. Huo, what wind has blown you into the Ye residence? Please, have a seat. Forgive us for not welcoming you sooner."
Wenzhao's voice stuttered a bit from the excitement as he quickly invited Shenting to sit down.

Tian Xin lived next to Wenzhao's room, and upon hearing the noise, she got up to investigate. When she saw the extraordinarily handsome man downstairs, her expression froze for a few seconds. Huo Zijun, in her eyes, was already quite handsome, but the man before her was even more so, or you might say that Zijun was not worth mentioning in comparison.
Her heart inexplicably started pounding as she hurried back to her room to tidy up before descending the stairs.
"Dad, do we have guests?"
Her voice was gentle, her face adorned with a sweet smile, innocence personified.
Seeing Tian Xin come downstairs, Wenzhao immediately introduced her with a smile, "Mr. Huo, this is my eldest daughter, Tian Xin."
Shenting merely nodded slightly, without speaking.
