Fu Shinian went downstairs again when Auntie Wang came up to call him for dinner. He had just finished a phone call with Ji Nanfeng and went downstairs, but in the dining room, he only saw the old lady's figure. He walked over, took a seat, and waited until Auntie Wang had finished setting the table with food. The person who was supposed to appear still hadn't shown up.
The old lady hummed lightly:
"Su Mu hasn't shown up, and you didn't even ask why?"
Fu Shinian smiled lightly at the old lady:
"Even if I don't ask, you will tell me, won't you?"
"How can that be the same? Active concern and passive inquiry are completely different things," the old lady glanced at him disapprovingly, "Susu is asleep in my room. I think she has been genuinely tired these past few days, so I didn't call her. I just let her sleep well."
Fu Shinian nodded but didn't say anything.
"Is your company very busy recently?"
Fu Shinian looked at the old lady, puzzled, "What do you mean?"
