Su Mu slept restlessly. Each time she fell asleep, she would have the same dream about her state at Bishui Yuntian half a month earlier, as well as the abuse Fu Shinian had inflicted upon her.
She had never experienced this before, not even when she first moved from Bishui Yuntian to the Glass House. Now, after so many days, those days' events flashed through her mind like a movie, terrifyingly clear.
She wasn't sure how many times she had woken up, but the sky outside the window was already light. The dim light seeped through the single layer of curtains, and Su Mu saw the figure on the sofa. Silently, for a few seconds, Su Mu got up from the bed.
After Su Mu left the room, Fu Shinian also opened his eyes. If Su Mu had not slept all night, neither had he. In addition to being shocked by the events seven years ago, he was acutely aware of the nightmares that plagued Su Mu.
He had intended to wake her up, but as he approached, he heard her murmuring, "Fu Shinian, let go of me."
