Su Mu realized her current state with Wen Han upon hearing those words and almost immediately pulled her hand out of Wen Han's grasp. This wasn't a display of her caring about Fu Shinian's feelings, but no matter how you looked at it, Fu Shinian was her ex-husband, someone she'd shared emotions with before, and it wouldn't be possible for Su Mu to remain calm and collected while exposing this part of her past feelings right in front of him.
Wen Han understood this as well, so when he looked at his now empty palm, he didn't say anything. He just fell silent for a few seconds, then fixed his gaze on Fu Shinian and slowly began to speak,
"Mr. Fu, how come you have so much time today? You visited this morning and now you're back again?"
Fu Shinian didn't feel out of place at all. He walked over and took a seat on the sofa in the living room,
"Didn't I say this morning that I would find time to properly thank you? A brief morning visit couldn't possibly convey my gratitude, could it?"
