Qiao En was taken aback; Qiu Zeming really was direct.
But she quickly smiled again.
"Director Qiu, please sign first," she said.
Qiao En took a new contract out of her small bag and handed it to Qiu Zeming.
Her smile was warm, and her words did not reject him; now it was Qiu Zeming's turn to hesitate.
If he didn't sign, he wouldn't get the benefit from Qiao En.
If he did sign, and he wanted to take advantage, he worried Qiao En would renege.
Qiao En smiled sweetly, holding the pen in one hand and the contract in the other.
Qiu Zeming was indeed trapped between a rock and a hard place.
But soon, he made a decision.
"I just love this understanding side of you," he said.
He reached out and pinched Qiao En's delicate cheek.
Taking the contract, he snatched the pen and swiftly signed his name.
Qiao En took the contract, folded it, and put it back in her bag.
Her mission was accomplished.
"Thank you, Director Qiu," she said.
