Zhu Jingxuan didn't understand Xiaolu.
In his eyes, Xiaolu, in her early twenties, was just a naive young girl.
"This is a gift from Yangyang to you. He's so happy to know he has a sister that he drew this picture," he said.
Zhu Jingxuan reached out, took a drawing from the back seat, and handed it to Xiaolu.
It was a simple sketch, with an immature style.
In the picture, there were two people, Zhu Chenyang and Xiaolu, holding hands and smiling happily. Behind them was an endless garden, with various flowers in full and vibrant bloom.
Xiaolu took the drawing, and a strained smile squeezed from the corners of her mouth.
"My mom is waiting for me. I have to go."
She opened the car door and quickly stepped out.
Zhu Jingxuan hurriedly opened the door and followed her out, jogging to catch up with Xiaolu.
"Xiaolu, are you free this weekend? Yangyang wants to go to the zoo. Could you come with him?"
"We'll see when the time comes."
Xiaolu didn't give him a definite answer.
