The gravesite was surprisingly easy to find. Xia Chu had made just a couple of phone calls and, through her grandaunt's youngest daughter, had learned the exact address and even received thanks from her grandaunt's family.
Then, following the navigation, she and Huo Xiyao arrived at the destination. After briefly asking the staff there, they quickly found it.
Xia Chu saw her grandaunt's smile on the tombstone; it was still as kind as she remembered.
Her eyes reddened, and she whispered to Huo Xiyao, "Grandaunt was genuinely good to me. Growing up, she was the first elder who loved me without any agenda or desire for anything in return, only because of who I am."
"Even... my mom, and my second uncle, their love wasn't that pure back then. Unfortunately, that period was too brief. I didn't even have time to repay her kindness before she passed away... Now when I think about it, I feel so guilty."
